When Wilhelm Zuleeg laid the foundation stone in 1925 with two mechanical looms for the quality fabrics for fashionable women's and men's clothing that are still produced at the same location today,
Corporate Wear and Technical Fabrics, meeting demand for bedding, tableware and clothing fabrics was particularly important.
Even back then, the strong family bond formed the basis for building a company as a fabric manufacturer and fabric retailer, and quality was a top priority in Zuleeg's history right from the start.

1968 | Willi Herold
Willi Herold, cousin of Erich Zuleeg, joins the company. With his outstanding commercial and textile-technical knowledge, he makes a decisive contribution to the Zuleeg weaving mill's rise to the guild of German fashion fabric manufacturers.
1953 | Erich Zuleeg
After Wilhelm Zuleeg's sudden death on a business trip, his 25-year-old son Erich Zuleeg took over the company and, with indomitable will and dedication, drove the company's development in the post-war period. His unique instinct for trends helped him always keep his nose in the right direction.
