Here's what we'll provide for a fantastic sewing weekend:

In our cozy event hall, you'll find a spacious sewing area (approx. 150cm wide) for your sewing machines, materials, and tools. You're also welcome to use our professional ironing station and all our other irons and ironing boards. Our sewing guide, Ines, will be on hand with expert tips and tricks.

Everything is already pre-installed by us with our multi-socket outlets, which you should use exclusively.

For fabric supplies, of course Our fabric stash will be open throughout the entire sewing camp, where you can also purchase various lining fabrics, interfacing, and sewing threads. And if you really need something, everyone is happy to help each other out in a friendly and uncomplicated way!

Two DIN A1 cutting mats and plenty of cutting stations are available for cutting.

Tip for your preparation for our sewing camp:

If you want to be really efficient during your sewing weekend and spend as much time as possible at the machine, we recommend cutting out your sewing projects at home beforehand. That way you can start sewing right away.
If you spontaneously fall in love with a particular fabric in our fabric warehouse, you are of course welcome to do the cutting on site โ€“ we have plenty of space and large tables prepared for this.

Pre-wash โ€“ yes or no?

When you buy fabrics from us, you don't necessarily have to pre-wash them. For many fabrics, it's perfectly sufficient to steam them with hot water before sewing โ€“ this reduces any potential residual shrinkage and protects the material.
Woolen fabrics should generally not be washed, as they are naturally self-cleaning and can easily felt if washed. Simply airing them out or gently steaming them is perfectly sufficient.

Sew whatever your sewing heart desires!

This weekend: You can sew whatever you want โ€“ no fabric police here! ๐Ÿš“ Of course, we'd be thrilled if you used Zuleeg fabrics (they're pretty amazing, after all) โ€“ but it's absolutely not required. The most important thing is that you have fun at your sewing machine and enjoy your time off to the fullest!

Don't worry, nobody needs to be a perfect seamstress here!

It doesn't matter at all whether your seams are perfectly straight or more creatively designed โ€“ for us, it's mainly about having fun and meeting lovely people with the same hobby. A great side effect is that you have plenty of time to sew and can count on mutual support. And if you ever get stuck, our professional clothing technician, Ines, is there to help!
She patiently untangles the jumble of thoughts.

Very important at this point: this is NOT a sewing course , but a feel-good weekend for everyone who loves their sewing machine and sewing โ€“ with plenty of time to whir and chat, laugh and simply be creative.

This is what sewing looks like at the source of the fabric! ๐Ÿ˜Š

On Thursday afternoon, we'll kick things off with our traditional welcome coffee and cake buffet, where we'll also enjoy a glass of sparkling wine. All other meals will be organized on-site, allowing you to fully concentrate on your sewing project. Except for Saturday evening, when you can give your sewing machine a break: we'll dress up and treat ourselves to a delicious dinner nearby โ€“ but you'll have to pay for that yourself.
