Look forward to a relaxing long weekend where you can indulge in your passion for sewing, without worrying about everyday life, together with like-minded and creative hobby seamstresses - because we'll take care of all the essentials.
What makes our 'sewing at the source of the fabric' so special and unique?
You'll immerse yourself in the fascination of fabric production and take advantage of our personalized and highly interesting tour, which will give you an exclusive look behind the scenes of our weaving mill . You'll discover firsthand how cutting-edge technology and decades of textile craftsmanship merge, and you'll be there firsthand as high-quality, Made in Germany fabrics are created.
In addition, the entire sewing weekend will feature exclusive fabric shopping with professional fabric advice in our factory outlet!
On top, you'll receive 1.5m of the finest Zuleeg fabric of your choice from our factory outlet for free!
What we provide you with for a gigantic sewing weekend:
In our cozy event hall, you'll find a spacious sewing area (approx. 150 cm wide) for your sewing machines, sewing materials, and sewing tools. You can, of course, use our professional ironing station and any other irons and ironing boards. Our sewing guide, Ines, will be on hand to offer expert tips and tricks.
Everything is already pre-installed with our multiple sockets, which you should use exclusively.
For fabric supplies, of course Our fabric store will be open throughout the entire sewing camp, where you can also purchase various lining fabrics, interfacing, and sewing threads. And if you really need something, we're happy to help each other out!
Two DIN A1 cutting mats and plenty of cutting space are available for cutting.
What you should definitely have in your luggage:

Tip for your preparation for our sewing camp:
If you want to be truly effective during your sewing weekend and spend as much time as possible on the machine, we recommend cutting out your sewing projects at home. This way, you can start sewing right away.
If you've spontaneously fallen in love with a fabric in our fabric warehouse, you're welcome to cut it on-site – we have plenty of space and large tables for this.
Pre-wash – yes or no?
When you buy fabrics from us, you don't necessarily have to pre-wash them. For many fabrics, it's perfectly sufficient to steam them with hot water before sewing – this reduces potential residual shrinkage and protects the material.
You should generally avoid washing wool fabrics, as they are naturally self-cleaning and can easily felt when washed. Simply airing them out or gently steaming them is sufficient.
Sew whatever your sewing heart desires!
This weekend, you can sew whatever you want—no fabric police!🚓 Of course, we'd love for you to work with Zuleeg fabrics (they're pretty awesome, after all)—but it's absolutely not a requirement. The main thing is that you have fun with your sewing machine and enjoy your time off to the fullest!
Don’t worry, no one has to be a perfect sewer here!
It doesn't matter whether your seams are perfectly straight or more creative – with us, it's all about having fun and meeting lovely people who share the same passion. The great side effect is that you have plenty of time to sew and can count on mutual support. And if you get a little confused, our professional clothing technician Ines is on hand!
She patiently unravels the tangle of thoughts.
Very important at this point: this is NOT a sewing course , but a feel-good weekend for everyone who loves their sewing machine and sewing - with plenty of time to chatter and chat, laugh and simply be creative.
This is what SEWING looks like at the source of the fabric! 😊
On Thursday afternoon, we'll kick things off with our obligatory welcome coffee and cake buffet, followed by a glass of sparkling wine. The other meals will be organized on-site so you can concentrate fully on your sewing project. Except for Saturday evening, when you can give your sewing machine a break: we'll dress up and treat ourselves to a delicious dinner nearby—although you'll have to pay for this yourself.
Here are some important information about overnight stays:
You must book your travel and overnight stays (including breakfast) yourself in advance . We recommend our wonderful Hotel Villa Weiss in Helmbrechts, which is about 4 km from your sewing location. You will be delighted by the tastefully furnished rooms and the delicious and extensive breakfast buffet. We are pleased to offer our participants discounted rates by referring them to the Zuleegcamp. Please do not book online, but by email to info@villa-weiss.de or by phone at +49 9252 9613912 !
Check in: on Thursday (at XXL) or on Friday from 1 p.m.
Check out: on Sunday after breakfast but sewing at Zuleeg is of course done until 3pm
As you can see, everything is organized for lots of fun and, of course, there is a great opportunity to make new friends.
We will send you a detailed program with your booking confirmation so that you can plan your sewing days accordingly.
We're really looking forward to welcoming you to the source of the fabric while we sew and to our weekend together all about sewing and fabric!
However, we have to draw your attention to one small thing:
This event can be addictive – once you've been here, you're guaranteed to want to come back!
And then there's only one thing that helps - come back with lots of anticipation and new sewing projects in your luggage!
You can find the new sewing camp dates for 2026 under News and Dates .
